Using a Hosted Newsroom allows you to automatically display the content you publish on Mynewsdesk on your own website as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

OWN SUBDOMAIN \u2013 CNAME
\n<\/b><\/b>By creating a subdomain on your server and configuring it with a Cname record, the subdomain is made available on your own domain.
\nTo set this up, you need access to the DNS settings for your domain. Point your Cname to mnd-ssl-proxy.mynewsdesk.com<\/i>. Setting up a Cname may take just a few minutes.<\/p>\n

After setting up the Cname on your server, you log in on the Mynewsdesk newsroom and go to <\/span>Settings<\/i><\/b> (click on the cogwheel) -> <\/span>Newsroom Settings<\/i><\/b> -> <\/span>Hosted Newsroom<\/i><\/b>. Choose the following option on how to install your hosted newsroom: <\/span>Use your own subdomain (CNAME)<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Then enter the URL of your Cname in the field <\/span>Your own subdomain (CNAME)<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Complete the settings (Redirection URL, Design settings, Custom header and footer via HTML and CSS, settings for Cookies) according to your preferences and click on the <\/span>Save & Activate<\/i><\/b> button at the bottom of the page. Using the Preview<\/em><\/strong> function you can see what your hosted newsroom will look like before you complete the setup or confirm any changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

EMBED ON YOUR SITE – IFRAME
\n<\/b>This option allows you to embed your newsroom in a tab on your own website, keeping your own design, header and footer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tab where the iframe is embedded is actually empty and the content visible there is in fact hosted on Mynewsdesk’s site. Setting up an iframe usually takes less than an hour, depending on the web administrator\u2019s knowledge level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under <\/span>Settings<\/i><\/b> (click on the cogwheel) -> <\/span>Newsroom Settings<\/i><\/b> -> <\/span>Hosted Newsroom<\/i><\/b>, you choose the following option on how to install your hosted newsroom: <\/span>Embed on your site (IFRAME)<\/span><\/i>
\n<\/span>Then add the URL to the page where you want to embed your hosted newsroom<\/span>. Click on <\/span>Generate script<\/i><\/b> and <\/span>Copy to clipboard<\/i><\/b> to copy the javascript code for the iFrame, and insert that code into your page source (in body<\/em>), on the page where you want the Hosted newsroom to appear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Complete the settings (Redirection URL, Design settings, settings for Cookies) according to your preferences and

GET DATA USING API
\n<\/b>With API you make requests to us in which you choose what content to fetch from your newsroom and display on your own website. This way you can also customise the design as you please. Using API requires a broader technical knowledge than the other Hosted Newsroom options above. For a technical documentation, or if you need our API key, please contact our support.<\/span><\/p>\n

OTHER
\n<\/b>In excess of the options above you may also show your latest press releases, news or blog posts by<\/span> implementing our story widget<\/span><\/a>. Also, our<\/span> RSS feeds<\/span><\/a> can be used to show content from your newsrooms on another website.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that a Hosted Newsroom and API are not included in all of our subscriptions.
