{"id":4116,"date":"2020-04-17T09:09:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T08:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mndsupport.wpengine.com\/?post_type=faq&#038;p=4116\/"},"modified":"2020-06-09T10:31:44","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T09:31:44","slug":"how-does-adding-a-region-affect-the-distribution","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/helpstaging.mynewsdesk.com\/en\/faq\/how-does-adding-a-region-affect-the-distribution\/","title":{"rendered":"How does adding a region affect the distribution?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following applies to the <em>Topics and regions<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0that you set<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 as a default in <\/span><i style=\"letter-spacing: 0.009em;\">Newsroom settings<\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (in the menu under the gearwheel).<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the distribution settings for any material in <\/span><i style=\"letter-spacing: 0.009em;\">Publish<\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After adding one or more topics and subtopics, the material (e.g. press release) will at publication be sent to journalists that are following any of these.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By adding one or more regions, you will <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in addition<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> also reach journalists that are following any of those provinces and\/or districts.
