Visitors of your newsroom can download it by clicking on the download icon below the heading of the published material.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nevertheless, sometimes it makes sense to add other PDF content, such as a flyer, infographic, booklet etc. to your story. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When editing your press release, news or blog post, you click on <\/span><b><i>Add related media<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the section <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Related media<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Content type<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you select <\/span><b><i>Documents<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the drop-down-menu. Click on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upload document<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to upload your PDF. Select the PDF (or possibly multiple documents) by clicking on it, so that it gets the check mark, then confirm via the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Done<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete the editing of your material (for more information, see our guide <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mndsupport.wpengine.com\/how-to\/publish-new-press-release-news-article-blog-post\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Publish a press release, news or blog post<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the last step when publishing, after you have clicked on the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Continue to publish<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button, you need to make sure that the option is ticked to <\/span><b><i>publish related content at the same time<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as the press release, news or blog post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will publish the document with the PDF in the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Media library<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of your newsroom. You can edit it under <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Publish<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &gt; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Please note that, in order to be downloadable, <strong>the document must <em>not<\/em> have the license <\/strong><\/span><strong><em>All rights reserved<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alternatively, instead of uploading the document in the<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Related media<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section, you can start by creating it directly under <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Publish<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &gt; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (either save as a draft, or publish it right away), and subsequently add it as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Related media<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While you are logged in as a press officer of your newsroom, you can test downloading the PDF via the press release preview.
