To add a video to a press release, you start off by going to <\/span>Publish<\/em><\/strong> > Press releases,<\/span><\/i> continue by clicking <\/span>Create New<\/span><\/i>, or pick <\/span>Edit<\/span><\/i>\u00a0from the three dots menu for an existing press release.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are <\/span>two different ways to add a video<\/b> to a press release, news or blog post:<\/span><\/p>\n

A) Add video as Related Media
\n<\/b>If you have the video file, you can upload and publish it on Mynewsdesk, and add it as related media:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. In the <\/span>Related media<\/span><\/i> section, click on <\/span>Add Related media<\/i><\/b>
\n<\/span>2. Under <\/span>Content type<\/span><\/i>, choose <\/span>Videos<\/i><\/b>
\n<\/span>3. Click on <\/span>Upload video<\/i><\/b> to upload file from your computer or\/and<\/span>
\n<\/span>4. Select one or more videos to add as Related Media<\/span>
\n<\/span>5. In the last step before you confirm publication of the press release, make sure the box is ticked that says <\/span>Publish related content<\/span><\/i>, and the related video(s) will also be published on their respective site in the Media library of your newsroom.<\/span>
\n<\/span>6. In case you want to edit the video information, you can do so under <\/span>Publish<\/span><\/i> > <\/span>Videos<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

B) Embed video in body text
\n<\/b>If you have already published your video (either on Mynewsdesk or another platform, like Youtube), you can embed the video as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Copy the <\/span>embed code for the video<\/span><\/a>
\n<\/span>2. Place the cursor in the body text at the position where you want to insert your video<\/span>
\n<\/span>3. Click the <\/span>Insert video<\/i><\/b> button on the body text menu<\/span>
\n<\/span>4. Paste the Video embed code<\/span>
\n<\/span>5. Confirm via the <\/span>Insert<\/span><\/i> button<\/span><\/p>\n
